Icefishing
January - April

Winter days on the ice
Ice fishing in the Arctic is a simple and social winter experience.
We travel out onto frozen lakes and rivers, drill holes in the ice, and spend time outdoors together.
This experience is well suited for beginners and first timers. No previous fishing experience is required.
On the ice
We travel by snowmobile to our fishing spots, chosen based on weather, ice conditions, and safety.
Some locations are close by, others further out on the plateau.
Once on the ice, we fish together at a relaxed pace. You will learn the basics of ice fishing and have time to try for yourself, with guidance throughout the day.
There is no pressure to catch fish.
The focus is on being outdoors, sharing the moment, and enjoying winter in the Arctic.

Shelther and warmth
Winter weather can change quickly. We always bring an expedition tent with heating, giving shelter from wind and cold.
Fishing can be done both outside and from inside the tent. Hot drinks and simple food are prepared along the way, and there is always a place to warm up.
If the weather allows, we enjoy time outdoors by the fire. If we are lucky, we may prepare fresh fish on site.
