Where the
reindeer come close

This experience takes place close to home, with reindeer we know well and work with every day. It is about trust, proximity, and sharing a small part of our everyday life with animals that are part of our family.

Meet the locals

Here, you meet our tame reindeer up close. You are welcome to feed them, take photos, and interact in a calm and respectful way.

They enjoy attention and are used to people, but always on their own terms.

You will quickly notice their different personalities. Some are curious and eager, others more reserved. This is not a show, but a meeting between humans and animals that know each other well.

Reindeer hangout

We spend time together with the reindeer outdoors, allowing space for natural interaction.

If conditions allow and the group wishes, we can take a short walk with the reindeer toward the nearby river.

The pace is slow and flexible, adjusted to both guests and animals.
There is time for photos, questions, and simply being present with the reindeer in their environment.

Duration: Approximately 1 hour with the reindeer.

Part of the family

Our tame reindeer are not attractions. They are part of our everyday life and our responsibility year round.

Building trust takes time, patience, and consistency.

Because of this bond, close interaction is possible. You may feed them, touch them, and stand very near, always guided by us and with respect for their boundaries.

Each reindeer has a name, a history, and a place in our lives.

Lavvu, food and stories

After time with the reindeer, we gather in the lavvu. Food is prepared over the fire and shared together, just as we do ourselves.

You will be served traditional Sámi food based on season and availability.

While we eat, we share stories from reindeer herding life, and joik may be offered when the moment feels right.

This is a space to warm up, slow down, and let the experience settle.
